The Water, Land and Catchment Team at the South East Rivers Trust is dedicated to driving evidence-led improvements in environmental and water resilience across the region. By collaborating with a range stakeholders, landowners, growers, farmers, and local communities, our team can co-design and implement practical solutions that can help address the complex challenges facing emerging Water Abstractor Groups.
With our technical expertise, involvement in strategic planning at both regional and national levels, and advocacy role as hosts for 12 catchment partnerships across the SE, the Team is well placed to support Water Abstractor Groups (WAGs), especially through the Holistic Water for Horticulture Project and Farm Cluster facilitation work. Our collaborative approach enables agri/hort and leisure sector abstractors to navigate regulatory changes, share resources, and adopt sustainable water management practices, ultimately strengthening water security and food production in the region.
